Details:
What do you do when the clouds dissipate and you get a glimpse of the setting Sun for the first time in nearly a month? It was a beautiful sight of both planets visible in the same field of view. A rare airplane passed bellow the planets and left a dark trail behind. It was almost 800 years since a closer conjunction could be observed so it is really an historical event. On the 5 of March 1226 the planets were separated by only 2 arc seconds but no one could observe it in a telescope of course. From Stockholm the 2 planets are very low on the horizon so the telescope is almost pointing horizontally. /*Peter R
