I've been practicing taking photos of Jupiter and Saturn as they approach their December 21 Great Conjunction. When I took this photo this evening they were 38 angular minutes apart. You can see the four Galilean moons of Jupiter -- from the top, Europa, Callisto, Io and Ganymede). Photo taken from my driveway with Sony a7iii attached to Celestron Nexstar Evolution 6 telescope at prime focus (1500mm focal length), 1/3 second, ISO 100.
