The 0.64 magnitude planet Saturn and -1.99 magnitude planet Jupiter are seen in the southwest sky from Cedar Rapids, Iowa at 5:38 pm CST, Thursday, December 10, 2020. The planets are moving toward their closest visual approach to each other on December 21.
