Details:
This "Filtergram" was taken through a converted Meade 102ED refractor fitted internally with a Lunt 60 mm H-alpha etalon. The conversion required machining a custom barrel to close tolerances to refocus the Lunt image. It was entirely successful capturing a sunspot area in very high detail. I was amazed at what I had created easily matching the resolution of the Lunt 4" stock H-alpha scope
