Details:
I had fantastic luck the other night!!! While taking quick test photos with a lens I wanted to try out on long exposure Milky Way photos I saw this incredible Leonid meteor fire ball in the view finder and was able to catch it. The brightness and color is something I've never seen, much less photograph it. The meteor is passing in front of the Orion constellation. The three belt stars are in the upper left and the beautiful Orion Nebula showing its pink color is in the lower left. Nothing like the beauty of the universe!
