Details:
The solar wind arrived on time as announced on this website. Around midnight local time, Bz dipped to -8 while the proton density was quite high. After a short while, the sky was suddenly filled with green auroras! For about 20 minutes the northern lights were dancing fast across the sky, even reaching the zenith, right above the cottages on the shore of the Teno River. What a beautiful night, again, in Utsjoki!
