Details:
The sun today on November 5th, 2020 at 12:27 p.m. CET. The largest sunspot group of the new 25th sunspot cycle - AR 2781 - can be seen in the southern hemisphere. For the new cycle that is just beginning, the size is remarkable and perhaps gives hope for a steep rise in the cycle. Above the giant group, in the northern hemisphere, another, new, small group is currently forming. The seeing was moderate. Refractor 130/1200, glass solar filter (continuum), Canon EOS 6D, ISO 100, 1/4000s
