Details:
This bright blazing Orionid flashed then left remnants aglow for nearly an hour. Its brilliant orange cloud, a slowly dissipating smoke ring, ultimately faded into the dawn. The 32 shots in this GIF were pulled from a 3hr sequence of 30 second exposures aimed toward the N-NW, overhead sky Tuesday morning 102020. Imaged with a Nikon D800e at 1600 ISO, 20mm lens at f3.2.
