Description:
Comet 88P/Howell imaged on October 9, 2020 while passing over the complex of dark nebulae called the Pipe Nebula, in particular at down left and right are the coal-dark dust clouds Barnard 65 and Barnard 66 superimposed on thousands of stars in the Milky Way. The comet has an intense green C2 coma with 6 minute in angular size and no tail visible.
