I imaged Cygnus CRS-14 docked to the ISS on 10-05-20 in poor seeing as it was moving across the sky at 17,500 mph and 250 miles above ground Earth from my backyard observatory in Manorville, NY USA. Cygnus CRS-14 docked slightly ahead of scheduled at 10:16 a.m. EDT (14:16 UTC) over the border of China and Mongolia, only minutes before ISS began traveling above Earth's night side. I had to wait my turn for the ISS maximum altitude of 71° at 7:51pm EST. Cygnus Cygnus CRS-14, previously known as CRSOA-14, is the fifteenth flight of the Northrop Grumman robotic resupply spacecraft Cygnus and its fourteenth flight to the International Space Station under the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) contract with NASA. The mission was launched on 3 October 2020, at 01:16:14UTC. Cygnus will remain berthed to the International Space Station for approximately three months while more than 8,000 pounds of cargo is unloaded and astronauts reload the vehicle with disposal cargo. Cygnus CRS-14 will then undock and complete its secondary mission of hosting both the Northrop Grumman-built SharkSat payload and the Saffire-V experiment. The SharkSat prototype payload is mounted to Cygnus CRS-14 and will collect performance data of new technologies in low Earth orbit. I am by the only amiture ISS Hunter to image the day of Cygnus CRS-14 docked to the ISS on 10-05-20 and the day after 10-06-20. My imaging setup was My imaging setup was an Edge HD 14" OTA telescope with an Astrodon Red filter on a ZWO ASI174MM (mono) camera and a Televue 2X barlow lens. Custom EQ-G mount hardware and software by Emmanuel Rietsch that made it possible for me to track the ISS in the way I do. Kink Regards To ALL.
