Details:
The morning after the great opposition of the Red Planet of this year, taking advantage of a rare day of clear sky I tried to photograph Mars before sunset with a small zoom, at the moment in which it was still possible to see with the naked eye. At 7:37 a. m. it shone with magnitude 2.6, reduced by the atmosphere to 1.8 (Stellarium), at a height of 5.5 °. Bottom right, Corno Bianco after a recent snowfall, still immersed in the shadow of the Earth, just above the barrage clouds reddened by the belt of Venus. A good show, before going to work! Canon 70D, zoom lens 17/85 mm. to 85 mm.
