Details:
The close pairing of the Moon and Mars was imaged on October 3, 2020. The difference in brightness was striking, requiring some creativity to photograph the duo. Three exposures ranging from 0.8 sec to 1/2500 seconds were aligned then blended using exposure fusion to handle the dynamic range. A Canon 80D, a Canon 200 f/2.8L II lens and an iOptron Sky Tracker were used.
