Details:
It was a fine night of conjunctions, Oct 2-3, starting with the Moon rising paired with Mars now near closest approach. Shortly after they rose the ISS flew over and away to the southeast near the Moon and Mars pairing. Before dawn on Oct 3 Venus rose close to Regulus in Leo. The planets are putting on quite the show!
