Details:
San Francisco is surrounded by wildfires, and the sky is rather hazy. The sunset started as a mock mirage, and a few minutes later, when the miraged sun reached the hazy, dark duct (image 2), I thought it was too hazy to see a more interesting mirage, and yet the sun has won! A few minutes later the miraged sun started to rise and getting brighter. I should have reminded myself that I was watching sunset, not sunrise. The setting sun was rising! The last bits of the miraged sun disappeared into the haze more than 10 minutes after the sunset time. Here is a video I filmed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WI305QCWhq4&t=12s
