Details:
Last Sunday night I met up with 2 buddies on the Oregon coast. We were out on the beach splashing in the bioluminescence and waiting for the moon to finish setting. Just as the moon had gone down, I noticed a meteor start brightening! Then it got brighter and kept going! I had time while the fireball was streaking through the air, to start an exposure and still capture it! It was probably one of the best fireballs I have ever seen! All 3 of us were screaming and hollering as it was streaking through the air! At one point we saw a piece break off and trail along with main part! Taken with a Canon 6D and Sigma Art 35mm F1.4 lens. 10 second exposure @ F/2.5 and ISO 6400.
