Details:
One of the greatest astronomical experiences of my life: today to the day exactly 21 years ago - the total solar eclipse over Europe 1999-08-11. Taken near Mattersburg, Burgenland, Austria, just before the border with Hungary. In the umbra of the moon, the temperature dropped by 10 degrees, eclipse wind was blowing and stars became visible. It was a solar eclipse expedition by members of the Astroclub Radebeul e.V. from Radebeul, Saxony, Germany.
