i live in interlochen michigan with awsome dark skys but 22 miles to the west is sleeping bear dunes on lake michigan and its black. took the stiched pic there has andromada jupiter few meteors but the big show is the MILKYWAY. i can look at that for ever and anybody can. you dont need any equipment. i grew up in chicago there wasnt no milkyway there. now retired living 10 miles west of traverse city michigan in small town of interlochen where i see it every night! . ive had 3 telescopes in my day and the milkyway is still my favorite. shot with a cannon galaxy7 mark11 a 24 mm lens at f1 and iso at 3200 time 30 seconds
