Details:
The time-lapse movie shows Mars slipping behind the Moon`s illuminated side at 5:33 (UTC-3h).The photos depict the planet`s approach to the Moon`s limb shortly before ingress. At that moment, relatively to Mars, the Moon was 224 times closer and some 7 thousand times brighter. In addition, inside the apparent figure of the Moon, over 13.2 thousand Mars would fit. A Nikon CoolPix P900 camera was used for the shots at its Moon mode. No telescope was attached.
