Astronomical twilight was nearly over and the moon on the rise when I had a look at NEOWISE through a 7 x 50 binocular. Still quite easy to pick out the deep twilight. This image was made with an 85 mm NIKKOR lens @ f/2.8 on a Canon Rebel XTi; a 105 second guided exposure at ISO 400. The wide fan dust tail is just barely visible in the binocular. Taken in my driveway. Tonight (8-5) offers the first moon-free window after the end of astro twilight.
