Under high solar illumination the Birt domes, bisected by Rima Birt, Rupes Recta a lunar fault, very evident, and the crater Alphonsus with dark patches pyroclastic deposits inside the crater. They are originated by vulcanian eruption style, and the craterlets are vents. Thus explosive eruption occurred on the Moon. Mak Cassegrain 18 cm.
