Details:
Today, Friday, July 31 at 02:24 pm (UT), I photographed this impressive prominence of approximately 290,000 km high. This prominence is the remnant of a large ejection of solar plasma that I was also able to observe on Wednesday and Thursday.
Two active regions are also observed in the sun's disk, AR 2768 on the left and AR2767 on the right. Both contain sunspots belonging to solar cycle 25.
To capture this image I used a 90mm SolarMax II Coronado single stack telescope and ZWO 183 MM Camera
I made two videos of 700 frames each, one for the disc and one for the prominences and stack 20% of them.
To highlight the details of the disc I inverted the image in Photoshop.
