Details:
Image taken on night 25 July 2020 which captures comet NEOWISE C/2020 F3 with the ISS passes over the Boadella reservoir in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The image was carefully planned choosing the optimal point of view to produce the reflection of the comet and the ISS on the lake together with the asterism of the Big Dipper. The biggest drawback was the remaining clouds produced by the passage of a front that almost covered the comet. I made several sequences of images alternating in the sky and in the lake to capture the passage of the ISS. The gaps between the exposures were later edited with the computer to visualize as a continuous line. The landscape appears dimly lit by the setting moon. Images taken with a modified Sony A7S camera (full visible spectrum) and a 35 mm f/1.4 lens, ISO 3,200.
