Details:
I could not resist returning to scan the sky in search for comet NEOWISE, even though I knew that it would be lost in the light pollution of New York City, as the comet grew very faint (magnitude 4+). My son, David, and I scanned the sky with my 15x70 binoculars until we found the very dim comet. It was right where the Spaceweather map had it located. The map was very helpful. The sense of accomplishment was great for both me and David. The thrill was still there! Details: Canon EOS REBEL T5i camera, First Photo - 4s exposure, f/5.6, ISO 1600, Canon EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lense set at 24mm, Second Photo - 8s exposure, f/5.6, ISO 400, Canon EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lense set at 24mm, manual focus, remote shutter release, GITZO tripod.
