Details:
Probably my last image of the very nice comet of 2020 and I think my best photo of a comet, I hope I don't have to wait as long I have to get a opportunity to improve, by them maybe I will have got to grips with the stacking process and finally figured out how to use my star tracker. I was hoping to be able to get out somewhere to get a photo with some nice foreground scenery, somewhere like Stonehenge which isn't that far from me, just under 25 miles as the crow flies, but that far enough considering I don't drive. Instead I had to contend with a nearby sports playing field, which gives nice views overhead and to the east and north, especially after 1 a.m. when all the non essential streetlights get turned off. But unfortunately for me the comet was over the railway yard and that has bright spotlights which don't get turned off. T make up for the lack of nice foreground scenery I chose to frame it between some trees. They came out a bit blurry as I used too long an exposure time, should have used a higher ISO instead! Canon 70D with Sigma 105 at F/3.5 !SO 1000 19 x 8s exposures stacked with deep sky stacker
