Details:
The Big Dipper poured out a comet over my town of Cody Wyoming last night. I was observing from the hilltop above downtown, and the light pollution knocked back a lot of the detail in NEOWISE's tail. I stepped into this frame for a selfie and noticed a small satellite was heading north, and pointed at it. A diffused LED flashlight hanging on a neck lanyard illuminated my foreground. Nikon D5300 using a Tokina ATX 11-16mm ultrawide zoom at 24mm equivalence. Exposure was 6 secs. at f/2.8 using ISO 1600. Image processed in Affinity Photo for minor color correction and reduction in size for publication, then denoised with Nik Dfine plugin. Original is JPEG , not RAW
