Details:
Three friends met (with masks) atop a tall earthen dam near Delaware Ohio to get a good view of comet NEOWISE setting in the northwest. The comet was easily visible to the naked eye, despite nearby lights. I estimated the length of the tail to be about 3 degrees with the naked eye and perhaps 5 with binoculars. Images taken with Nikon D750. Immage of fireflies and comet consists of 115 3-second images of the fireflies, and a single image taken from that same series showing the comet. The comet image was a series of 21 15-second images taken with a 135mm lens. ISO 800, F/2.8.
