Details:
The sky forecast for July 15, 2020 was dicey but those who went out to look for the comet were rewarded. From my vantage point the sky allowed the comet to sit just at the limit of naked-eye visibility. Binoculars brought out the extent of the comet as it floated just above very heavily light pollution-illuminated clouds. Just before 11:00 PM EDT it faded into the background glow of the sky. Canon EOS 6D Mk. 2, 24-105mm lens at 73mm, f/4, ISO 1600, 8 seconds.
