Details:
[ continued ] Observed/Photographed from Mt Wilson/CA, below famed 60"/100" telescope domes. Just past 3/4 moon, there was still some reflected sunlight affecting the eastern sky. Spotted the blazing bright near-nucleus tail rising above NE horizon (in 10x50 binoculars) ~ 4:10am. Felt EXCITEMENT. Raced to start taking astrophotos (tracked on a mount) -- 610mm/6, 400mm/4, 300mm/2.8, 200mm/2.8, 100mm/2.8, 50mm/1.4 Morning twilight started to brighten horizon ~ 4:15am. Later astrophotos have bluish background, due to brightening sky
