Details:
A very nice long and broken meteor echo two days ago from my receiving station in the North of Scotland!
The 3D animation and two images (realysed with Python) give us more insight on the event: it shows a very well long and ionised trail left by the meteoroid, but with breaks caused by strong high-altitude winds. It is possible to also see that the intensity of the signal remained good for ~30 seconds.
I was also able to create this video with the sound of the meteor echo as it was received by my equipment! It is at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erdh6R9C-UY
The equipment is tuned to the French GRAVES Radar frequency, and it is able to capture meteor echoes when they disintegrate in our atmosphere!
