Comet Neowise meets Meteora! After the image from Halkidiki I travelled for about three hours in the unique location of Meteora to view and capture the rare meeting of the comet with the amazing location of Meteora in Kalambaka Greece. The image was made with a 70-200mm zoom lens set at 150mm since my distance from the site was the most distant that I could find after hours of searching in the wilderness where one can find snakes, bears and wolfs... It is a stacked image with the camera/lens mounted on a star tracker with the drive off for the first image that was used for the landscape and then on to track the comet but on half speed and this is why there are trails on the stars. I was afraid that I would lose a lot of field if I tracked at 100%. Humidity was very high and the equipment was wet during the shooting plus the sky wasn't as transparent and this impacted the view of the comet's tail.
