Details:
Colorful Florida sunrise offered spectacular view of Comet NEOWISE with huge tail in widefield 100mm f3.8 Vixen refractor. Unexpected was an asymmetry in the comet coma, including a peculiar lucent gap next to the nucleus, as imaged in my 0.37M RCOS telescope. Could this be early fragmentation??
