Details:
Not quite naked-eye in NY City, but a lovely sight in a 4" refractor at 40x; tail in the eyepiece evident for about 2 degrees. A notable dark "lane" behind the roundish nucleus. Tail: Yellowish hue. Tail brighter, thicker and longer on one side compared with other, vis-a-vis nucleus. Pics at prime focus, 880mm TV102 ISO 1250 ISO; 1.3 and 1 second exposures
