I was busy trying to find and photograph Comet NEOWISE and hardly noticed them at first. When I had no success with the comet, I changed to a 35 mm lens and took this 1/8 second exposure with ISO 1600 at 5:00 a.m. MDT. The 7 bright stars of the Big Dipper are in the photo. The mountains to the lower right are the Centennial Range on the Idaho-Montana border. The bright star in the second photo is Capella.
