Details:
I wanted to pass along a few images I captured of the recent Lunar Venus Conjunction. It was pretty special. I was fortunate to have found a clear ENE horizon to get these early images from near Keene, ON. Of course as the Moon rose in the sky, the separation with Venus only increased and the twilight brightened and for sure there was a small cloud band ready to swallow the pair. My images show about 0.6 degree separation of the 27.7 day old Moon and Venus. I used a tripod mounted Nikon Coolpix P900, ISO 1600, f/5.6, 1/6th sec. at about 4:40 a.m.
