Details:
Since Draco Productions and the Escambia Amateur Astronomers built 100 STEM spyglasses for Astronomers without Borders and Ciencia Puerto Rico, we have awaited proof that the 1" ND5 Baader Astrosolar filter will be adepquate to reveal earth sized sunspots rotating across the solar disk, as Galileo noted in 1610. But with solar minimum in effect, it took until today to finally see a reviving Sun with AR 2765 just below center with the STEM spyglass at 20X. Not much more detail with Mak 90 at 100X! But it does work! Details in July 2020 Sky&Telescope, pages 74-5.
