Details:
After several overcast and rainy days were were lucky to get clear skies tonight for the partial penumbral eclipse. Considering that the eclipse only had a penumbral magnitude of 0.57, we wondered whether it would be visible at all. Although it wasn't what you would call spectacular, the moon definitely had a five-o'clock-shadow, which we could see both with unaided eyes and with 10x30 binoculars. We made two shots with a Lumix TZ-81. The first is an HDR shot made around 19:10 UT that shows the surrounding farmland from where we observed. The second shot was made at mid-eclipse at 19:26 UT. White balance was set to daylight, the strong yellow tint comes from the moon still hanging low in the sky.
