Details:
I took a total of more than 70 pictures with different exposures to capture the area illuminated by the Sun on the moon, the earthshine and the starry background. The planet Venus (bottom right of the Moon) has been included for didactic purposes due it is close to its maximum apparent size, and can be compared with the Moon size. It was photographed minutes before the Moon with the same setup. All pictures were taken using a small portable telescope (a little 10 cm aperture Schmidt-Cassegrain) attached to a compact type camera.
