As Mercury climbs higher in the evening sky it is setting later when the sky is darker. Here Mercury can be seen disappearing behind some indigenous Musasa trees on the summit of Transmitter Hill yesterday evening at last light. From now on it will set in complete darkness. Camera: Twelve half-second exposures at ASA 1600 with tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in manual exposure mode.
