Details:
For over 5 hours I was entertained by a 22 degree halo over the Brooks area of Alberta. I was very surprised to see a partial parahelic Circle and that was the highlight of my 3 day trip to see the planetary conjunction of Mercury and Venus. The 22 degree halo formed at around 0900 MST and it was clouded out at 1430 MST.
