Details:
A parting image of the crescent Venus as it gets larger in apparent diameter and also less illuminated. This final image, like many, was taken through a layer of clouds so very little detail is apparent other than the apparent size. The composite slide shows the variation of the apparent diameter of Venus over the last few months. The video stacks were taken using a Celestron 9.25 XLT and ASI 178 MC camera. Tracking provided by an Astro-Physics MACH1 mount. Stacked and processed using ImagesPlus, which is now free.
