Details:
This morning is the first morning we have had a Moon in the morning sky — full at that. Yet Comet C/2020 F8 continues to be a decent binocular comet with a 1 1/2˚ tail. Over the last couple of morning the comet's brightness has been seesawing a bit (by tenths of a magnitude). This morning (with full Moon) I estimated the comet's head to be magnitude 5.7 through 8 x 42 binoculars. This shot is a 6-second exposure through a 70-mm (EFL 112-mm) at ISO 1600.
