Details:
Clear sky with excellent visibility provided a good night-time view of the waxing Gibbous Moon setting behind the treeline on the northern slope of Christmas Pass at 1.30 am on Sunday. The final composite shows the exact moonset point in bright sunshine the following morning. It was easily relocated because of the lone Acacia among the Musasa trees on the skyline. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in manual and sunset modes with x60 zoom magnification.
