Details:
Clear skies over 3 evenings enabled me to capture the bright planet Venus as it passed the open star cluster, The Pleiades in Taurus. The three exposures were combined in a composite to show the position of the planet each evening. The diffraction spikes are created by stopping the telephoto lens down and taking a longer driven exposure.
