Details:
I decided to frame the conjunction of Venus and M45 in various trees along a local creek. Where Venus was partially obscured by intervening branches the diffraction spikes were accentuated. The image in which the sky has a blue cast was taken with the White Balance set to "Auto" while the 3 remaining images were taken using the "Daylight" setting.
Details: Canon 6D, 2sec, ISO-800, Tamron Zoom at 200mm, f/2.8.
