Details:
I spent last week (15.2.-22.2.20) in a Rorbuer on Sommaroy-Island near Tromsoe (NO). It was very stormy at the atlantic coast during this week and fortunately also in the night at the sky. New moon enabled also the visibility of violet beams, which derive from nitrogengas. The origin of a green beam is oxygen. As I am addicted on Northern Lights I have already spent a lot of weeks in Scandinavia during the last years to take pictures of this superb nightsky phenomenen. For me it is only outperformed by a solar eclipse.
Cameras: Nikon Z7 with 1:3.5-4.5/8-15mm and Canon Eos R with Sigma ART 1:2/24-35mm
