Just back in from a mega night guiding for Lights Over Lapland. I was on day 3 of a 4 day tour and looking at the forecast of both the space weather and the earth weather had a few choices to make as the guide. I decided to start the tour late and finish later as it looked like snow until after 23:00. At about this time I could see bright aurora in a number of directions behind cloud. Then just after midnight the skies cleared and we had multiple coronas and dancing auroras. I was at one of my favourite sites which has a pine tree which looks a giant bonsai tree. The aurora went in the right direction (the SW) and shape for me to get a shot were the aurora mirrored the tree. What a grand night with some very happy quests :)
