Details:
Elusive Mercury was shining bright in this evening's twilight sky. Mercury reached greatest eastern elongation on February 10th. I've not had any appreciable skies to see the planet and tonight was my best chance to see it. Mercury prominently popped into view about 35 minutes after sunset. I couldn't resist framing both Venus and Mercury with my favorite windmill. Imaged with a Canon 60Da and 17mm Sigma lens @35mm. ISO 1000, f/22, 8 seconds.
