Witnessing the Northern Lights and shooting stars, always will remember us, of the souls and the spirits of the departed loved ones, dancing and watching us from above….Was no different few nights ago….the memories of them were reactivated and started flowing in…. After few nights in row chasing the lights in different location, during the January 31st 2020, I got one of the most active Aurora displays so far this month, in the area. Beside the strong green band evolving later into some small curtains, pillars and swirling phantomatic shapes, I got a real nice bonus. Went to my car to pick up spare batteries in order to replace the spent ones and while I was stepping out, looked at the sky and I saw this yellowish, blueish, very slow moving fireball, overhead which came from NE and eventually climbed towards NW, amazingly coming out gently from inside the Aurora band which was graciously dancing at the northern horizon. Went and check all the cameras and lucky enough, I got the fireball in both still cameras frames and also as a real time video. What a great show Mother Nature puts on stage sometimes…..…..(Clear Hills County, Alberta, Canada – Jan 31, 2020, D800, Nikkor 14-24mm 2.8, ISO 4000; 8 seconds exposure; f 2.8, 14mm & D810, Sigma Art 14mm 1.8, ISO 4000; 5 seconds exposure; f 1.8, 14mm).
