Details:
Venus, Moon, and Mercury were aligned at sunset with the Moon in between the two planets.

For most of twilight, Mercury was hidden by clouds but appeared for a few minutes just before setting.

The second image contains an inset zoomed in on Mercury as it appeared briefly in the gap.
