Details:
The magnetic field carried by the solar wind turned south periodically these past three days giving rise to bright aurora and producing geomagnetic unrest easily detected on magnetometers around the globe including my own operated from the UK. It is always so satisfying to detect these types of events and relate them back to what is happening in the space around us.
